That’s right. The other evening I attend an event called Bonnet Bash 2017: Beauties and Beasts.

So what’s a gal to do for a costume. Hmmm…

I decided to be The Beauty of Peace. I’m so whatever, whatever, whatever about what happened in Syria this past week and in the general political state of the world (though honestly not a political person!) that I decided that my way of contributing to world peace would be to show my support of world peace in the costume that I chose.  So straight from Google images, I made myself a pair of peace sign earrings(hard to see…) and the dove necklace (with a picture of the globe superimposed on it) with a peace branch in its mouth  At leastLol I felt that I was contributing someway even if it was just in the form of a costume to the ideal of world peace.

So here are some photos from this very fun event.  The level of creativity using the theme of Beauty and The Beast was amazing and I’m glad that I went.
