Last Friday, I covered an Italian Culture Night fundraiser hosted by Cristina Fontanelli. The event was held at The National Arts Club which is located at 15 Gramercy Park South. Ms. Fontanelli is a host for PBS-TV and an award winning singer who has often been compared to the legendary Maria Callas. Ms. Fontanelli has traveled the world delighting audiences and besides all those Romance languages that she can sing in, yes also sings in Japanese.

In addition to hosting this fundraiser, Ms Fontanelli also announced that on December 9th at 8:00 pm and December 10th at 4 pm she will be producing her 14th annual Christmas in Italy at Symphony Space which is located at 95th Street and Broadway.
