The other evening The Animal Care Centers of NYC, had its third New York’s Kindest Dinner and Awards.  This very special awards dinner was held at City Winery, 155 Varick Street and began at 6:30 p.m.  The Animal Care Centers of NYC, otherwise known as ACC held this Kindest Dinner and Awards fundraiser to honor those very special people and organizations that have helped to change the lives of those New York City animals that are the most dire need.

This special evening included a cocktail reception followed by a sit down dinner.  At this event, there was also a performance by The Young People’s Chorus of New York City, a special appearance by bulldog Baby Howard-an ASS alum and social media superstar in addition to both a silent and live auction.

Now the individual honorees of this year’s Kindest Dinner and Awards included David Zyla, an Emmy Award-winning stylist and Linda Chinn, an ACC Executive Fundraising Committee Member.  The organization being honored was Rock & Rawhide, an animal welfare philanthropic organization which promotes shelters and the quality of life for the animals in their care.

In addition to the previously mentioned award winners, photographer Sophie Gaman, copywriter Brian Masefield, and designer John Stweard were all honored as all three created the great “Easy as ACC” awareness campaign.
