New Orleans Food Fun

The other evening I had the fun opportunity to have a Cajun-themed buffet dinner at The National Art Club (

When I got to the club look who greeted me…




Then in the next room was Yeah! an authentic, three piece Dixieland band.


And now the food fun part…


I wound up having a little of this and a little of that…


Going around the clock starting with the roll was Jambalya Rice, Potatoes with Parsley, Petit Market Squash Salad, Broccolli Slaw, Grilled Cajun Chicken with Braised Okra and in the center you’ll find Mesclun Salad with Orange Blossom Dressing (yum!).

And let’s not forget dessert!!!

So below you’ll find the so very delicious Brioche with Orange.  They were good!!


So along with a multi-talented entertainer and later on a four piece band for cutting the rug, it was surely a charming Southern evening and fun for all.
