Latinista Fashion Week was created by Dee & Co Group and has become a competitive Fashion Week brand that provides both established and emerging Latino designers the opportunity to present their collections.
This two day fashion event included celebrities, musical talent, media and Latinistas from the tri-state region to find out what’s new and what’s hot!
Now I attended this celebration on Friday evening January 30th, which took place at El Museo del Barrio www.elmueo.org which is located at 1230 5th Avenue at 104th Street. I had never been to this museum before and so I was very excited at the prospect of this fashion event taking place at the museum!
So at 7:30 p.m. was a Red Carpet, at 8 p.m. there was an exhibit of Cesar Galindo’s Archives, at 8:30 there were drinks and appetizers and at 9:30 the winners of the Cesar Galindo Young Designers Latinista Award were presented.
But to really appreciate the work of Cesar Galindo and all the Latina Fashionistas who attended this great event here are some photos of the highlights…
Below are some of his creations that were exhibited…
And below are some of the interesting Fashionistas at hand to photograph…
So if you have a chance to visit El Museo del Barrio, don’t miss the opportunity and if you’d like to learn more about the fashion style of Cesar Galindo then click HERE and enjoy!
