Art OnCuba debuted in June 2013 as a new quarterly magazine about Cuban art and culture.  It’s published by Fuego Media Group the publisher of On Cuba magazine.  The magazine is set up in English with Spanish summaries and Hugo Cancio is Art OnCuba’s publisher and editor-in-chief.

So what are the goals of Art OnCuba?

Hugo Cancio shared that Art on Cuba “is a magazine for art lovers, specifically the art of my country. It’s for experts, critics, curators, collectors-for specialists and artists who expect a different and unique publication.”

So what better way to talk about art then to see it.  Here are some images of contemporary Cuban art done by Carlos Quintana and presently displayed at The National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South.
