Now the tradition of The International Debutante Ball began in 1954 by Beatrice Dinsmore Joyce and since 1983, her niece, Margaret Hedberg has continued on as The General Chairman.  In addition, The International Debutante Ball Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit has donated to many charities, but primarlily it donates to The Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club of New York City.

Now, The Soldier’s and Sailor’s Club was originally founded in 1919, by Mrs. Cornelia Barnes Rogers and Mrs.Theodore Roosevelt, Jr along with General John J.
