I found myself on the way to meet a group of friends at Rock Center Cafe for a holiday lunch.

But even before I share the great lunch I had here are two more “New York City images” that capture the City’s  holiday spirit this 2016 holiday season.

So now once inside the Cafe I ordered from their prix fix holiday luncheon.

So for the appetizer I had Roasted Farmer’s Markets Beets, Almonds, Goat Cheese and Upland Cress which is similar to Water Cress.

Then for the main dish I had Turkey and Cheddar Panino, Honey Roasted Turkey and White Cheddar Cheese, Pecanwood Smoked Bacon, Watercress Tomato, Herb Aioli, Chiabatta, Bread and Organic Mixed Greens.

And then for dessert Lemon Meringue Pie.
