So we had 5:30pm reservations at the end of our time on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park (see Travel tab) and we had reservations at a restaurant whose name 618.  It was located at 618 Park Avenue in Freehold New Jersey.

The restaurant also caters and is presently expanding it premises as this is being written 🙂

So here is the social distanced outside space.

And what did I decide to order?

Well, after checking out the dessertsLol, I decided to keep my meal lower in calories since I was really bent on having something sweet and that was my plan!!

So I ordered a Watermelon Salad with Baby Greens, Watermelon, Feta, Persian Cucumber, Pine Nuts and Mint Vinegrette on the side 🙂

and with that I ordered my all time favorite vegetable Brussel Sprouts made with bacon and shallots.

Both dishes were really nice but I really enjoyed the freshness of the Watermelon Salad more.

Then I had Yeah… dessert which I split.

I ordered Warm Sticky Toffee Cake with Buttered Pecans and Maldon Sea Salt.

OK. I must admit that the one I got in Trader Joes  during the Christmas Holiday Season 🙂 was much better but it was still fun having this kind of dessert at  the end of the summer.:)

So all in all, I would go back to this restaurant even though the likelihood because I live in the city isn’t that great.  It was a very pleasant meal!
