The other evening my girlfriend and I decided met up at Bar Italia, a lovely Italian restaurant which is located at 768 Madison Avenue at 66th Street. I had no idea what to expect but the food was outstanding and I plan to return as soon as possible!

So what did I decide to order?

After checking out the menu I decided on Grilled Chicken Paillard with Baby Rucola, Fisee, Tomatoes, Avocado and Corn.

It was the absolute best, but best Grilled Chicken Paillard that I have every had. The chicken was pounded very thinly and tasted divine. The assorted vegetables that graced the chicken were in a magical oil based dressing that made the vegetables feel like they were floating when you actually ate them.

I totally recommend Bar Italia. The food and the atmosphere were very La Dolce Vita and divine!
