Via Quadronno off Madison

The other evening I met a girlfriend for dinner and we wound up choosing Via Quadronno which is located just off Central Park at Madison Avenue and 73rd Street. This Italian restaurant is best known for their cappuccino and panini sandwiches however they have an extensive enough menu which is enough to impress both tourists and locals. And….. if you’re up really early then you can drop by for an adorably decorated cappuccino and a chocolate croissant.

Yes, Via Quadronno features a full dining menu, homemade desserts, amazing gelato and wines. Their made to order paninis are served semplici-composed of a single ingredient on freshly baked bread, as open-faced sandwiches, or all Milanese. You can also sample their Lasagna Bolognese, which is a homestyle rendition of the original classic from Bologna.

So let’s check out the outside and inside as well…

So what I decide to order?

I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered Grilled Salmon with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables.

The meal was great, the service was lovely and the place felt really homey. I totally recommend Via Quadronno if you’re around 74th and Madison. You’ll like it!
