New Year’s Eve and Rossini’s

New Year’s Eve is especially special to me since it’s my birthday. So I get to celebrate two fun evenings in one. This New Year’s Eve I wound up in Rossini’s which is located at 108 East 38th Street and I really enjoyed the experience!

Rossini’s opened its doors on February 8th, 1978 and has served it’s patrons for over 45 years. Mr. Bernaz opened his first restaurant in 1953, after serving his apprenticeship in the many fine Italian restaurants of that time. His use of the finest ingredients together with his culinary knowledge has resulted in a menu and presentation that has become the favorite of many discriminating New York City diners. Rossini’s is owned and operated by Romano Bernaz, his two sons, Raymond and Gerry, and his nephew, Josip Cernjul. Rossini’s success and longevity are due to the family’s constant presence and their philosophy of serving true Italian Cuisine in an evolving and interesting fashion.

So let’s check it out…

Here’s the bar and the two connected dining areas…

So what did I decide to order?

First comes the bread basket!

Then I decided on Pollo Scarpariello.

The dish was Breast of Chicken, which was sauteed with white wine, lemon, garlic and rosemary. It was really good! Fresh, tasty and “just” nice!

So I want to wish you all a very Healthy and Happy 2024 and if you’re in The Murray Hill Area don’t hesitate to try Rossini’s.

It won’t disappoint!
