St. Raphael Resort and Marina

I was on my way to Cyprus to attend a Design a Life You Love Conference and to see the many friends that I have there. So I was super excited to head to JFK and flew American Airlines to Heathrow Airport, London and then changed planes and took the 11:40am flying British Airways to Larnaca, Cyprus.

When I got to Cyprus, one of my friends drove me to the St. Raphael Resort and Marina. I had booked 9 nights and was ecstatic.

Here is the outside of this amazing hotel which is located in Limassol at 502 Amathus Avenue, 4533, Limassol.

Here is the inside lobby…

What made my room so extraordinary was that I had a balcony that looked out over the entire back of the property and onto the Mediterranean.

So here is what I saw when I was on my balcony. Did I want to return to NYC. No. I was in love with the balcony. What more can I say.Lol

So let’s talk more about the excellence of the amenities, the restaurants and the food that was all part of the St. Raphael experience.

There are no words for breakfast which you can find at The Octagon Restaurant. Oh my gosh, the breakfast choices were a fabulous display of Mediterranean foods and those special foods native to Cyprus.

Here is a picture of The Octagon Restaurant and The Cyprus Corner table. So yum…….

So it’s time to talk about The Captain’s Bar with it’s outside terrace which could possibly have been my most happy place.

Here is a picture of The Captain’s Bar which had a piano player and singer every evening but more importantly it was the outside part of the bar, the terrace which definitely was my happy place where I ate many a delicious lunch.

And my very favorite lunchtime place…

But, I will tell you that on the last night that my girlfriend from Glasgow was here we decided to have dinner at the very special Golden Monkey Thai Restaurant. The food was fabulous and the peaceful nature of the restaurant was all I need to melt into my chair.

Here is what the inside of the Golden Monkey Thai Restaurant looks like.

So combine all this with an Amphibian Pool Bar while you gloriously lounge around the pool, a Splash Pool-Side Restaurant, a Seashells Vegan and Healthy Living Sea-Side Restaurant and all day activities for kids and adults alike, I was in heaven.

So if you’re thinking that you want to become more adventurous in your travels and want to find a place as close to heaven as it gets, then book a trip to Cyprus and book yourself a room at St. Raphael Resort and Marina.

You’ll love it!
