Next on my 11 Day Kenya and Tanzanian Safari it was time to cross the Isebania border crossing into Tanzania at the Sira point of entry.
That’s because we were headed to Serengeti National Park, a famous wildlife sanctuary and yes, a Hot Air Balloon Ride which I was particularly excited about.
So here we are arriving at the entrance of the Serengeti.


We arrived at the Embalakai Authentic Camp which was also a tented camp as was the Fig Tree Camp. It was different but the same as The Fig Tree Camp with Masai Mara Warriors as the are sole source of protection from the animals that roamed the property.

We were picked up at 5am at the Camp and had some snacks and then up into the balloon for an hour. It was breathtaking and I’m so glad that I did it. But rather than write about the experience here is a video of the ride. Enjoy!
