Visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After an early morning breakfast at the Embalakai Authentic Camp we traveled to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We descended 2,000 feet to the floor of the crater, which contains diverse ecosystems and a large concentration of birds and animals. After we did that we continued on to the Ngorongoro O’ldeani Mountain Lodge which was absolutely fabulous.

As noted on their website,
