Kyoto’s Nara Park

Nara Park…what can I say but that it was a once in a lifetime experience. Nara Park is a public park with “bowing” deer which is located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa, in the heart of the city of Nara, Japan. The park is shown to have dated back to 1880 and is famous for it’s free-roaming “bowing” deer.

I got to feed these “bowing” deer special rice crackers and I would definitely not miss this activity when visiting Japan. It’s a delightful experience that you will not find anywhere else in the world (that is with deer.)

Here are some photos and 2 videos that will highlight what you will see and potentially experience at Nara Park! Enjoy!

And now the hilarious experience that happened to me when I decided to buy those rice crackers and feed the deer.
