After spending 2 days in Yala National Park we headed west along the coast to a local school. At the school we donated art supplies and saw how Gate 1(the tour company that I traveled with) has helped the school by providing essential buildings, lab tops and a small library The children were a complete joy and considering that I was a former ESL educator being in the school brought a flood of memories and reminded me of how much I really enjoyed the kids when I was teaching.
