When in Kandy, Sri Lanka we spent our last evening with a local family and helped with the cooking making String Hopper. We were also were fortunate enough to be entertained by local dancers and they were stupendous. The food was so yum and the family so sweet.We also had the opportunity to sample Old Arrack, Sri Lanka’s coconut liquor and it tasted a bit like brandy.
