The other evening I met a group of friends at The Asia Society which is located at 725 Park Avenue to celebrate The Chinese New Year, The Year of The Horse . After celebrating the festivities there at The Leo Bar which included a Lion Dance by Bo Law Kung Fu and a complimentary drink we headed out and walked to Hutong at 731 Lexington Avenue for a special Chinese New Year Dinner.

Then we walked over to Hutong were we shared Chef and Barbecue Master Martin Mak’s signature Flaming Duck which was Ooh La La. This was served along with Chinese pancakes and we also shared the Kai-Lan Chinese Broccoli in garlic and ginger.

It was truly a memorable evening fostered by the combination of celebrating the Chinese New Year, the amazing Chinese food and the company of fellow New Yorkers.
