While in Queenstown, New Zealand we visited the Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park where I had the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with a Koala Bear. Was I excited? I could hardly wait!
Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park has a rich history which dates back to 1972 when it first opened its doors. The Wildlife Park was originally a poultry farm, but became a wild life park over the years which now share the diverse flora and fauna of Australia. The park quickly gained popularity for its commitment to conservation and education and offers its visitors a unique opportunity to interact with native Australian wildlife.
Here are some photos from the experience.
