In addition, a portion of all the proceeds from the event were donated to  Support Connection (www.supportconnection.org), a not-for-profit organization which provides free breast cancer and free ovarian cancer support services for those individuals in need.

Now several of the guests shared why they were in attendance.  Angelo Veneziano who lives in South Jersey and who is the editor and blog administrator of boozedancing.wordpress.org said that he knows Joshua Hatton ( the President and Co-Founder of The Jewish Whisky Company) and so that he and his colleague, Mike Farley were invited by Josh and how could they say no a whiskey tasting event!

Then Lana Lauriano who lives in Verblanck, Westchester and works for Highland Park (a whisky company that produces a single malt scotch whiskey) said that besides working for Highland Park that she became a scotch lover as her knowledge of the brand grew while working for Highland Park.
