So the other evening I had a fabulous time while attending Toasting the Town’s New York Heritage Salon & Bounty Event. Toasting the Town which I wrote about in a previous post is a free e-newsletter which has been created to both entertain and educate anyone who lives anywhere so they can learn the old and the new of our grat City of New York! This was their first annual event and they did a great job!
So as mentioned in my previous post, the event was held at The Prince George Ballroom and Galleries, located at 15 East 37th Street and the doors opened at 7:00.
When I got there a little after 7:00, the room was already packed.
The music by Nightingale Jazz Band www.nighingalejazz.com was divine!
Then I met this great gal Linda Lopes who is the Account Executive for www.liquor.com.
Here’s Carissa Dahoney-Associate Manager of Sales and Marketing for Hillrock Whiskies, www.hillrockdistillery.com.
Then it was nice chatting with Mariah Kundel, The Dirctor of Marketing at www.brooklyngin.com alongside chief mixologist Damon Boelte!
Then yum, how could I resist tasting the Chocolate Chip Rugelach’s from Sammy’s Steak House located down on Chrystie Street. They were amazing and below are their two reps!!
And then last but by no means least, I treated myself to an ice-cream tasting from Serendipity www.serendipity3.com which is located at 225 East 60th Street and which did not disappoint!!!
So along with all of the other liquors and cocktail drinks that one could try at the event and all those additional food tastings-it was a very fun evening.
So check out www.toastingthetown.com and make sure to get on their mailing list for some other fun and interesting New York City happenings and events today!
