Old Tbilisi Garden-The Georgian Restaurant

So the other evening my niece and I walked from Union Square through Washington Square Park and wound up on Bleecker Street ready to eat dinner.   Oh, my, there were so many interesting restaurants to choose from but we kept thinking about The Georgian Restaurant, called Old Tbilisi Garden (maybe because it has a beautiful garden to eat in the very back of the restaurant) at 174 Bleecker Street  and decided that this was the one to have dinner in.

Here is the inside of the restaurant with the Garden in the very back.

And so what did we decide to order??

We decided to split a Georgian Salad which had cucumbers, tomatoes, parsely, purple onions, basil and homemade Georgian oil. So good…

and then we decided to share a Chicken Shish Kebob served with baby potatoes and Georgian Sauce.

It was really good.  The chicken was very moist and the potatoes went well with it.

I totally recommend Old Tbilisi Garden for a very relaxing, chill and great tasting dinner!!
