Lebanese Food on First Avenue

Another Friday evening in the city and time to meet a friend.  So this time my friend wanted to eat Lebanese food and I said, “Sure, why not?”

So I met her in the East Village at Balade which is located 208 First Avenue.

It was a hot and humid evening so I decided to keep it simple and ordered Chicken Meshwe, which was Chargrilled Marinated Boneless Chicken over a mixture of Greens, Black Olives, Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Feta Cheese and served with a Vinagrette.  They also brought pita type bread to the table and that was nice

So if you find yourself below 14th Street on First Avenue then check out Balade.
