It was my girlfriend’s birthday and I wanted to do something special for her since we know each other for decades. So I met her at Grand Central Terminal, and took the Metro North line to Cold Spring.

Such a quiet, quaint and lovely town along the Hudson.

And a lovely lunch at Hudson House Inn right across from the water. Yeah!!

Yum!

So if you want a lovely afternoon out of the city, hop on the Metro North and get off at Cold Spring. It won’t disappoint!
