I got to celebrate the holiday season by getting up to Mount Hope Mansion which is located in New Hope, Pennsylvania for their annual Holiday Dinner Theater.

When you enter the Victorian Mount Hope Mansion you’re embraced by the sounds of merry caroling and festive decorations.

Then we got to enjoy a 3 course dinner. Following the dessert we went to their theater and saw a fun and interactive play of Charles Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol and it was just absolutely delightful.

So here are some photos of the meal and then of the wonderful actors on stage.

First the menu:

Two of the appetizers: Cranberry Brie Bites and Bacon Jam Potato Cups

The amazing salad with shaved brussel sprouts with dried cranberries and walnuts, topped with a cranberry poppyseed dressing.

And the entree was chicken with whipped potatoes and green beans.

And the dessert was a Peppermint Jelly Donut with White Icing and Candy Cane Slivers.

So it was an absolutely lovely holiday experience and I completely recommend that if you have a car to drive to New Hope and have a fun and immersive holiday experience.
