Theatre District and The Palm Midtown

A lovely Saturday afternoon in The Big Apple and I met a group of friends at The Palm Midtown or as otherwise called The Palm West for an afternoon brunch. The Palm Midtown which is located at 250 West 50th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue has been a fixture in New York City’s dynamic Theatre District near The Gershwin Theatre since 1999. The restaurant is a natural dining choice before or after a show. It’s also known as a hot spot for opening night parties and a favorite go to restaurant for both local and city visitors from all around the globe.

Here is the bar area and the inside dining area.

Ok. Ok ๐Ÿ™‚ being a curious person I asked “Who are all these folks who have their face and name on the wall?”

So I was informed that The Palm has a club called the Landry’s Club. It’s a dining membership with perks and one of those perks is to have your face on their restaurant wall. I think that’s cool so that I might look into it. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

So what did I order?

There was a prixe fixed brunch menu but I wasn’t all that hungry and so as seen below this menu choice I ordered a Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad with romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, green bean, avocado, eggs, bacon and Danish blue cheese in a garlic vinaigrette which of courseLol I ordered on the side!

The salad was ok and the place is really known for it’s steaks so maybe I just Lol should have ordered the steak. But it was a very pleasant afternoon lunch, learned a lot and recommend this restaurant but probably more for it’s steaks.

Enjoy!
