Lokal Restaurant Rocks Upper West Side

So it was after Rosh Hashonah services on the Upper West Side that my cousin and I decided to eat lunch out. Both of us eat similarly and so while standing on the corner of 83rd and Broadway we googled Mediterranean food and sure enough right across from where we were standing was a Mediterranean named Lokal.

And here is the bar area and the dining area…

So what did I decide to order?

Lokal specializes in cuisine from all over the Mediterranean. They offer a flavorful mix of Turkish, Greek and Middle-Eastern dishes. They use the purest of olive oils in addition to Mediterranean cheeses, plus a twist of American Classic food as well. They are also know for their amazing home made breads as well.

So keeping that in mind I decided to order an Avocado and Tomato Salad.

But first check out this amazing home baked warm and flavorful bread!

And below is that Avocado and Tomato salad which had fresh tomato, cucumber, red onions, corn, fresh parsley and then tossed with olive oil and lemon juice which Lol of course I had them bring on the side.

And below you’ll find the most wonderfully piece of prepared salmon as an add-on to the salad.

The food and it’s preparation were divine. The food was fresh and supremely prepared and the salmon was just perfect.

In addition to the fabulous food, the ambiance is a sunny kind of casual and it’s ideal for couples, dates, families or just friends just looking for a pleasurable dining experience. It’s also very reasonably priced!

It’s all in all just an all around really nice and comfortable dining experience!

So if you’re on the Upper West Side, then check out Lokal!

It will not disappoint!
