It was time to go downtown and have dinner at The Roxy. The Roxy is a hotel which is located at 2 6th Avenue. Inside the hotel is The Roxy Bar. The Roxy Bar serves daily breakfast from 7am.-11am. They serve Weekend Brunch from 11am-3pm with live music from 1pm to 3pm. Then they have Sunset Cocktails from 4pm to 6pm daily and All-Day Happy Hour on Monday. and of course there’s dinner.
So The Roxy Bar serves fresh, seasonal American fare paired with hand-crafted cocktails in the place where all the cool kids go in TriBeCa. At the Roxy Bar, their stage hosts live entertainment during the evenings and weekend brunch service, featuring a rotating cast of top NYC jazz performers. They like to say that “We’re where the downtown denizens duck in for sunset cocktails (with specially priced oysters and drinks to commemorate the big star’s descent) where Michael Garin delights on the piano at the very same time. And they also sayLol that “for those with the competitive spirit (read: everyone, because this is New York) there is also a pool table and game area.”
I found The Roxy Bar to be a very comfortable place to eat and to be entertained comfortably. The seating is plush in a very stylish room where the atmosphere is friendly and the servers’ knowledgeable.
The food reflects a well balanced menu with a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items.
And now some photos!

Inside…

And what did I decide to order?
I decided to keep it light so I ordered a Half Roasted Chicken with spring peas, potato and leek tart with mint chimichurri sauce which I asked for on the side!

It was great. It really was…
So if you’re downtown, check out The Roxy Hotel and The Roxy Bar. It won’t disappoint!
