The Egyptian Dining Experience at Casa La Femme

It was time to try something different so my friend and I went to Casa La Femme, an Egyptian restaurant at 140 Charles Street. You might consider Casa La Femme a romantic type of restaurant. At about 7pm they lower the lights, you can book a private tent to have dinner in (my friend and I ate near the bar in a non-tent area and there was a Belly Dancer Show which was a fun addition to the evening. I just want to add that Casa La Femme’s menu is fit for any diet whether it’s vegan, vegetarian, halal, health conscious or altogether uninhibited. They have prefixed options, catering and kids menus that will suit your preferences no matter what you choose.

So let’s explore this hidden gem.

Here is the outside of the place.

Here is the bar area and the various other areas as well.

After they lower the lights…

So what did I order?

Though the menu had many choices I decided to keep it simple and ordered Organic Free Range Bone Out Half Chicken and that came with white rice. It was very tasty and well done!

And of course, there’s alwaysLol that cup of coffee.

And yes, here’s that Belly Dancer which made the experience fun!

So I highly recommend Casa La Femme if you want a fun dining experience that will transport you out of New York City and maybe, just maybe, Cairo!
