Recently visiting family in Miami, I had the good fortune to spend New Year’s Eve 2013 at Werner Staub’s Peppermill’s Bar and Restaurant located at 350 Bayview Drive, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. I found The Peppemill to be a wonderful escape to an elegant, old world charm, coupled with great music performed by Lynne Sherri, wonderful food and additionally top notch service!
Now, there was a special menu for New Year’s which was totally mouth-watering but in looking at their regular menu what struck me in particular was, “Wow, what a wide range of food to choose from!”
Their appetizer’s ranged from Lobster Bisque to Mussels in White Wine to Escargot Peppermill with garlic, butter, peppers and mushrooms. Their choice of pastas ranged from Fettucini Alfredo to Cheese Ravioli to Shrimp Fettucini.
Now if your preference is chicken you can choose from poultry dishes such as Chicken Schnitzel a la Holstein topped with egg, anchovies and capers to Chicken a la Kiev with rice and last but not least there’s Chicken Teriyaki served with sliced vegetables!
But your choice of entrees doesn’t stop there!
If your preference is fish or shellfish then your range of fish choices go from poached or grilled Peppermill salmon to steamed or broiled lobster to the catch of the day. Or…if meat is your preference there’s always Peppermill Chopped Sirloin, Veal Franchaise, Wiener Schnitzel or a Porterhouse T-Bone Steak. All entrees are served with wonderful Roesti Potatoes and Garden Fresh Vegetables!
And now let’s not forget “that” dessert or that “special” coffee!
Dessert choices range from Hot Apple Strudel, The Peppermill Swiss Chocolate Mousse Cake to a Swiss Chocolate Basket with fresh seasonal berries and Sabayon Sauce.
And…those special coffees range from Peppermill Coffee to Le Café Francais with Grand Marnier, spectacular liqueur from the northern province of France or Swiss Coffee with Kirschwasser, a cherry brandy.
So with all these types of wonderful food to choose from if you find yourself in The Sunny Isles Beach section of Florida, then definitely treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience at Werner Staub’s Peppermill and enjoy!!!
