With Fashion Week upon us, I attended The Fashion Lounge/Trends Mixer, a fashion and beauty bar event which featured brands from New York City and VIP Glamoratti.
The event was hosted by Dee and CO Group and took place at The Time Hotel, 224 West 49th Street, New York, NY right in the center of the theater district!
So besides a beauty makeover by Vera Moore Cosmetics which included a free manicure, let’s take a look at some of the displayed beauty and fashion products at hand!
So first I spoke to Barbara Hockstein and Eric Penn who are the creators of The Beauty Bee Products and Dr. Pennskin Shave Company. Their Beauty Bee products as seen below
are all handmade, all natural, and made with a majority of organic products.
Dr. Pennskin is a different type of company which specializes in men’s shaving and grooming products.
Barbara is so proud of Beauty Bee because of her customer’s responses to the product and she’s also so proud of Dr. Pennskin because her men’s shaving line introduces young men and already well groomed shavers with the possibilities of a very new and exciting “shaving” experience.
Then I spoke with Lindsay Stuart who is the founder of Shop Glam (www.shopglamexpressway.com).
Lindsay is a lover of accessories and she gets the best of the best to sell on her online store. Lindsay feels passionately about accessories because she says that a lot of money doesn’t have to be spent to change your look or your outfit and that’s why accessories, rock!

Then I spoke with Consuella Helms-Jeune, the daughter of Vera Moore, the creator of Vera Moore Cosmetics which can be found at your local New York City Duane Reade store.
I had met Consuella at another event and at this event, she shared with me that what makes Vera Moore Cosmetics (veramoorecosmetics.com) so very special is the quality of their line of products and that they can be used by women from all different types of diversities.
