It was my last night in Miami and I wanted to take my sister-in-law to a very special restaurant for being such a great hostess. So she suggested Petralunga which is located at 7601 E. Treasure Drive, Unit Cu-21 in North Bay Village and off we went.

Petralunga is an Italian brand that specializes in contemporary pizza gourmet, Mediterranean cuisine and cocktails. It was founded by Italian restaurateurs and finally this concept landed in Miami. The goal of this restaurant is to have their customer experience combining their pizza gourmet to mixology cocktails to a selected wine list and rock the night away.

In addition, their menu is also designed to use only the finest and purest ingredients. So add these food elements to an elegant, light and playful environment with a panoramic view of the little marine of North Bay Village and this evening’s dining adventure was absolutely sublime.

So here is the outside of Petralunga.

So what did I decide to order?

Well, I was determined to have dessert so I went light on the food and ordered Grilled Octopus with fingerling potatoes, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, onions and bell pepper.

The portion was very large but it was good and I only ate about a half.

So I decide to order a Moltan Lava Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice-Cream (on a bed of top of crushed nuts) and with it a cup of Black Coffee to help it alongLol

Oh my goodness, the cake and ice-cream where soooooooooo good that I ateLol the whole thing.

So I must admit that the whole dining experience was very intoxicating beginning with the food, sitting near the Marina and the additional European sense of decor.

I totally recommend Petralunga if you’re near North Bay Village and I have every plan of returning when I get back to Miami!!
