The other late afternoon I met a group of friends at Rosemary’s which is located at 350 1st Avenue.

Now Rosemary’s has a second location at 18 Greenwich Avenue, a third at 825 Third Avenue and a Shop Online Pantry as well. But most of these gals lived near 1st Avenue and Rosemary’s at 350 1st Avenue was the majority’s choice.
I was very delighted by the restaurant and hope to return again.
Here is the inside of this light and airy and extremely friendly neighborhood restaurant.

So what did I decide to order?
Rosemary’s has an extensive selection of hand-crafted pastas and pizzas in addition to all types of salads and other interesting dishes.

I decided to keep it light so I ordered Branzino (under Secondi to the far right on the menu) which was served on pea leaves, olive gromelata and grilled lemon.

It was fabulous. The Branzino was perfect and I had never had pea leaves before (what the Branzino was placed on) or olive gromelata and both were just great and exactly what the Branzino needed!
With that I split a dish of Rosemary’s Potatoes with capers and caper salt. They were also really excellent!

So I really enjoyed this dinner. The waitress was extremely nice, the food was excellent and the bright and cherry sun filled room made for an “I want to go back!” experience.
