A Pasta Bar

What a great dining experience! A friend of mine got a new credit card through Wells Fargo called BILT. The card offered several curated dining experience and my girlfriend picked one and what a fabulous choice. It was a 3 course meal and 2 drinks per person with tip included. And I can’t say enough good things about the dining experience so let’s start at the beginning…

A Pasta Bar is located at 330 West Broadway and Grand Street right down the street from the Soho Grand Hotel.

Here is the outside of the restaurant…

Now you could eat at the Bar, outside or inside but in our case, the restaurant was closed except to the people who had reserved the experience with this card and so we all ate inside.

Now the menu was pretty extensive for this invitation only and so I’ll post it for you to see and then share the photos of each food that we had. What I will say that each dish that was put before us whether shared or not was consistently excellent. Each dish was complex but delightfully light and just heavenly.

So here is the menu that was for this event and I started with a Glass of Prosecco.

So the first 3 dishes named For The Table were shared.

Tramezzini Di Salmone

Crochette Di Pollo/My girlfriend had the other one!

Avocado & Cucumber Salad

The second group of foods under Pasta Tasting were served as individual portions except for the Spaghettone Al 4 Pomodori which again we shared. Again, I can’t speak highly enough of the quality and the taste of each dish. Here are the photos.

As if all of this food was enoughLol, the last part of the menu was labeled Dessert for the Table.

Now let me say that I adore desserts and I have had a lot!!! of desserts in my life but these these two desserts topped the list. The Tiramisu was so elegant, so light and fluffy, it just melted in my mouth. It was such an effortless experience that I thought I was in Heaven…

And the Gelato Di Pistachhio was no words divine. No words divine.

So much about the desserts.

What can I say?

Truly, this is one of the best restaurant experiences that I’ve had on all levels. Each dish stood elegantly on it’s own, the staff was extremely courteous and it was just great.

So if you want fabulous Italian food and you’re in the West Broadway area, don’t hesitate. It won’t disappoint.
